Location and connectivity are always key for DPD and K2 is perfectly positioned for us. In addition to the urban centres of Carlisle and Penrith, we can cover a large area beyond Cumbria and the Lake District into the borders.

With the demand for online shopping likely to continue to increase, we are going to rapidly outgrow our existing Kingmoor base. Our new purpose-built distribution centre will be state of the art, with capacity for us to continue growing for many years to come. That will mean more jobs down the line. We know the local labour force is excellent, which is another key factor in investing in K2.
